A team of Human Design specialists set out to break the mold of education and community building surrounding the spiritual system.

Their livestream carried so much life, but the systems supporting it didn't allow the creative flow within to emerge full force.

Refine the vision and realign the creative systems to better support the natural creative vision, flow, and abilities of the hosts.
THE SHIFT:
The clearer shared vision and more supportive tools enabled the team to ideate, create, and iterate with greater confidence, speed, and alignment.
INTRODUCTION
When we first met Moana and the Awaken Your Human Design team, it was immediately clear they were building something uncommon within the self-development space.
Their approach to teaching had become a world of its own: Victorian-steampunk in tone, rich in atmosphere, and grounded in a deeply relational way of learning.
What wasn’t immediately visible was whether the structures supporting that world were built to carry where it wanted to go.
We began by refining the channel’s visual foundation, but as the work unfolded, it became clear that the real challenge extended beyond aesthetics.
PHASE 1: SETTING THE FOUNDATIONS
This is the channel's world as we met it — clear in direction and full of charm.
Before designing anything, I wanted to get a better sense of the context I was working with. So, I began by meeting with Moana, the channel lead, to learn more about her vision for the channel and the impact she wanted to have.
Her ultimate goal was to bring Human Design to the masses in a fun and accessible way. They were already streaming on Youtube and Twitch, building a following on Instagram, and creating a community on Kofi.
While functional as they were, Moana shared that she felt the channel lacked the professionalism and excitement that she had envisioned, so we started with some brand refinement.
We refined the visuals while preserving the channel’s original charm and character.
The new designs reinvigorated Moana's confidence in building and representing the channel. However, Moni, one of the main teachers, felt as though she wasn't equipped to carry the new brand expression into her presentations.
And so began phase 2 of this project.
PHASE 2: THE Hidden Challenge
Moni worked primarily in Canva to create her presentations for the channel. However, Human Design assets were largely absent from the Canva marketplace, and those few assets that did exist were limited in customizability and clashed with the channel’s newly refined visual foundation.
So, we set out to establish a more robust toolkit in Canva to support her proficiency with the tool, to empower her creative expression, and to help her focus on what she did best — teaching complex Human Design topics in accessible ways.
We started by focusing on making assets for her weekly transit reports.

Moni showed me how every week she would scrap together the transit wheel using assets from Canva. So, I created a set of assets she could drop right in to the slides, named to enable efficient searches, and designed to bridge the atmosphere of her transit report with the channel's brand.
The new assets enabled her to create these presentations weeks in advance.

We iterated on and expanded her asset toolkit to enable her to create presentations for every aspect of Human Design that she could imagine. Every set was informed by her needs and abilities, Canva's capabilities, the brand, and the viewer experience.
Presentations no longer took hours to create, and, more importantly, Moni was able to follow her ideas as they emerged without feeling limited by the tool itself.

Conclusion
The Awaken Your Human Design world was already alive and well in the hearts of the team. The channel only needed structures and the tools that enabled their vision to enter the world with ease.
